چکیده
The large rainstorm happened on Sep. 3, 2004 at Tiantai village of Xuanhan County, Sichuan province, which lead to a oversize landslide. The foreside of landslide slid into the Qian river and formed a dam about 20m height, jammed the Qian river and caused heavy damage and loss. Based on the digital landslide and 3D Visualization Technique, the research of the landslide was started by using the high resolution satellite images of pre-landslide (INKONOS image) and post-landslide (QUICKBIRD image). Remote sensing investigation, human-machine interactive interpretation was used to confirm the borderline, form, feature and area of the landslide, the twin characteristic dots was used to deduced slip direction and slip distance. The paper makes good use of geology theory to discuss the formation and mechanism of landslide, Synthetically analyzing the characteristic of deposit, it is deduced Tiantai landslide is a large typical drag and along-bedding slope landslide. The slide mode of distortion and breach is belonged to plastic flow-tensile fracturing of slope. * Corresponding author.Tel.:+86-01-82329273;Fax:+86-01-82329035.E-mail address:[email protected] Fund project: Sponsored by the Large-scale Investigation of Land and Resources(200416000003)

Landslide Investigation with Remote Sensing and Sensor Network: From Susceptibility Mapping and Scaled-down Simulation towards in situ Sensor Network Design
This paper presents an integrated approach to landslide research based on remote sensing and sensor networks. This approach is composed of three important parts: (i) landslide susceptibility mapping using remote-sensing techniques for susceptible determination of landslide spots; (ii) scaled-down landslide simulation experiments for validation of sensor network for landslide monitoring, and (ii...
متن کاملHybrid-SAR Technique: Joint Analysis Using Phase-Based and Amplitude-Based Methods for the Xishancun Giant Landslide Monitoring
Early detection and early warning are of great importance in giant landslide monitoring because of the unexpectedness and concealed nature of large-scale landslides. In China, the western mountainous areas are prone to landslides and feature many giant complex landslides, especially following the Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008. This work concentrates on a new technique, known as the “hybrid-SAR te...

The Ms 8.0 Wenchuan earthquake, occurred on 12 May 2008 in Sichuan Province, caused enormous property damages and human casualties. Right now, the secondary disasters caused by strong earthquake, especially landslides, have drawn much attention in the affected area. For this reason, it is necessary to research on susceptibility assessment in Wenchuan which is helpful to decrease landslide damag...
متن کاملApplication of InSAR Techniques to an Analysis of the Guanling Landslide
On the afternoon of 28 June 2010, an enormous landslide occurred in the Gangwu region of Guanling County, Guizhou Province. In order to better understand the mechanism of the Guanling landslide, archived ALOS/PALSAR data was used to acquire the deformation prior to the landslide occurrence through stacking and time-series InSAR techniques. First, the deformation structure from InSAR was compare...
